FORT WASHINGTON BASEMENT (IN-LAW SUITE)

Description:

We created a bedroom with a walk-in closet, living room, kitchen (without a stove), full bathroom, and utility closet for the mother-in-law that moved from Florida.

SOW:

Renovation of Basement: Framing, added additional insulation in the ceiling above the bedroom and living room (as a sound barrier), plumbing rough-in, electrical rough-in, extended duct lines from existing furnace, drywall, paint, vinyl waterproofing flooring, light fixtures, vanity, toilet, custom shower pan, tile walls with seat/bench and niche, kitchen cabinets and laminate countertops, doors, window trim, door trim, and baseboards.

MS. ROXY KITCHEN

Project Name: Ms. Roxy House

Description:

This 2-level townhouse was purchased in 1967 and never received any renovations. Once the new owner moved in, she decided to give her home a "face-lift" including the kitchen along with other areas of the home.

SOW:

Assisted the homeowner with finalizing paint colors, selection of waterproofing vinyl flooring, cabinet colors, and kitchen backsplash design. We also managed the coordination of multiple subcontractors and assuring the material arrived to the jobsite on time to meet the project schedule. Renovations consisted of upgrading the kitchen (including removing a wall that divided the dining room and kitchen), bathroom, living room, dining room, staircase and 2nd floor hallway.

JASMINE KITCHEN

Description:

A 2-level townhouse in need of an upgrade to make the kitchen look more "modern".

SOW:

Replace kitchen cabinets, laminate countertops, backsplash, replace outlets and light switches, kitchen sink and faucet, waterproofing vinyl flooring (kitchen, hallway, and 1/2 bath). We also replace the toilet, vanity, and mirror in the 1/2 bath.

The owner kept the existing appliances and she will paint at a later date.

The basement was unfinished when we started. We created a new room (can be used as an office, playroom, movie room, or bedroom), new utility closet, new full bathroom, IT closet, rough-in for future kitchen, and an open space for a living room/den.

Description:

A 4-level, 3 bedroom, 2 and 1/2 bath home was being placed on the market by its original owner so they could purchase a home in Tennessee. The owner wanted to add a bedroom and build-out the 1/2 bath on the ground level to bring move value to the home.

SOW:

Framing, electrical relocation, plumbing rough-in/plumbing fixtures, paint, trim work, baseboards, ship-lap wall, barn doors, and upgrade light fixtures. We also removed all trash and unwanted items from the garage.
